Aerovelo progetto ETA. Ancora un record di velocità
Il team canadese di Aerovelo, con il veicolo a propulsione umana ETA, stabilisce il nuovo record di velocità su due ruote con 89.59 mph (144.17 km/hr) migliorando il già suo precedente primato del 2015.
Il 17 settembre scorso a Battle Mountain in Nevada, si è tenuta l’edizione 2016 della ormai famosa manifestazione di velocità riservata alle due ruote, denominata IHPVA World Human Powered Speed Challenge.
Trai numerosi partecipanti che si sono sfidati in questa spettacolare competizione, anche quest’anno il primato è stato conquistato da Aerovelo, che con il suo ETA Speedbike Project, si è affermato come il team dotato del veicolo a propulsione umana più veloce sulla terra.
” For the past 6 years our teams have been working to build the world’s fastest human-powered vehicle and surpass the current level-ground speed record of 133.8 km/h (83.1 mph). Since 2009 we have built and raced numerous bikes, with each iteration surpassing the last. Our current bike, “Eta” is the fastest bike we’ve made yet and if it breaks the record this year, will become the fastest human powered vehicle on earth.”
