Contrast. Bikerafting con la Kona Sutra. Il film

Contrast è il titolo del delizioso filmi che parla di bikerafting realizzato da due dipendenti di Kona Europe lo scorso autunno nella regione del Verdon in Francia. Un itinerario di tre giorni che ha combinato l’esperienza di bikepacking in sella alla Kona Sutra con alcuni tratti affrontati in packraft sulle acque cristalline Lac de Castillon.

Molti i luoghi spettacolari attraversati, ed in particolare nei pressi di Entrevaux, le “Colorado Niçois”, note anche come Gorges de Daluis, con immense pareti di roccia lunghe oltre 900 metri, scavate nello scisto rosso. Un bellissimo percorso panoramico che attraversa i villaggi di Guillaume e Valberg transitando per il famoso Pont de la Marie, che con i suoi 80 metri è il punto più vertiginoso delle gole.

The Kona Sutra: Contrast. Il film

Kona Europe’s Romain Barrez loves to get creative with his adventures and they usually involve his Sutra. Romain had the idea to take a dual sport outing to the next level and carry his pack raft aboard his bike for a multi-day bikepacking and packrafting expedition.

From Nice, France, through Entrevaux, and up to Saint Julien du Verdon, Romain wound his way through medieval villages and gorgeous countryside, eventually finding himself paddling across The Verdon. This gorgeous film showcases the highlights of the route and features some of the most beautiful scenery we’ve ever seen.
