PEdAL ED Transcontinental Race. # TCRNO5

Ieri sera ha preso il via da Geeardsbergen in Belgio la quinta edizione della PEdAL ED Transcontinental Race, la ultra marathon in bicicletta senza supporto, che dopo aver attraversato mezza Europa si concluderà nella località di Meteora in Grecia.

I circa 300 partecipanti iscritti quest’anno, faranno del tutto per onorare la memoria di Mike Hall, grande specialista delle gare di lunga distanza ed organizzatore della Transcontinental Race dalla sua prima edizione del 2013, recentemente scomparso in un’incidente in bicicletta.

Durante il percorso sono previsti 4 punti di controllo rispettivamente: CP1 //  Schloss Lichtenstein  | Germania – CP2 //  Monte Grappa  | Italia – CP3 // High Tatras Mountains | Slovakia – CP4 // Transfagarasan Highway | Romania.

This year, after the death of our Director and friend Mike Hall, the race organisers are committed to ensuring the fifth edition of the race is the success Mike planned for.
